Women’s Style: Flower Power

Hi πŸ·πŸŒΈπŸ’–

Hope everyone is having a lovely day!

In the words of Claude Monet – “I must have flowers always, and always.” And I completely agree! Even on my outfits…because after all, who doesn’t love flowers?

Floral prints are great for feminine style, and luckily, they are currently very trendy as well – getting plenty of love from both fashion designers and the street style set 🌷

Whether you choose a flowery dress or a top with a floral pattern, today’s blog is all about ways to add florals to your wardrobe

1) Tops/ Tees

Style Tip: Make your outfit ultra-feminine by combining floral prints with airy chiffon material or soft, muted hues.Β

2) Trousers/ Shorts

Style Tip: TheΒ best option with printed pants is to stick with a neutral top so your outfit does not appear too busy.

3) Skirts

Style Tip:Β If you think floral prints are not for you, a lacy floral overlay or flower embroidery offer a subtler take on the trend.

4) Blazers/ Jackets

Style Tip: Pair florals with stripes in the same color family.Β Allow the pattern to be the star – wear accessories in neutrals or metallics.

5) Dresses

Style Tip: Look for bouquets in bold and bright colors, or in watercolor pastels. Try a large print in a dark color for an edgier look.

While mixing in a floral print is a great way to add some visual interest to your basic style, you can also limit florals to accessories – patterned shoes, statements necklaces, flowery bags etc.

Remember, flowers are always a good idea…indulge a lot or a little πŸ’So how are you going to get your floral fix?

So here’s to more flower power…let all your floral dreams blossom πŸ™‚πŸŒΌπŸ’•

P.s. I love the name you use!
Everything you said definitely came across as a lovely suggestion and as somewhere to start in the crazy world of working with florals. I am not a huge floral person myself but I adore prints so it gave me a little insight in being bold enough to give some crazier looks that caught my eye a try.

I love every style! And this is not a generic statement lol. No matter what Miranda Priestly says, florals are never out of style. I love the colour schemes too, so light and perfect for summer. Great post πŸ™‚
