OOTD: Crop Tee + Printed Skirt

Here’s the first post in my OOTD series – with a photo of me in the outfit I recently wore for my best friend’s birthday lunch.

It was a muggy day (as you can see from my floppy hair 😝😂) so I decided to wear something light. I chose a white crochet hem crop tee from New Look. I usually wear the top with high-rise jeans but opted for a different look by pairing it with a bright printed maxi skirt in crushed cotton. The skirt has very pleasant blue shades for the perfect summer look.

I accessorized with blingy sandals, delicate dangler earrings, a couple of silver bangles (including one with charms), and a statement ring. My make-up skills are awful, so I kept my look minimal as usual 😬

I am all smiles in the picture because I had just had a sumptuous lunch 😃😍

    I adore this outfit! I love wearing crop tops with high waisted bottoms whether it be shorts, pants, or a skirt and one of my favorite outfits while on vacation this summer was just that! I wore my pink crop tank with a beautiful thrifted skirt I picked up a while back (:

    This top is lovely and elegant. Love the lace details. Pairing it with a feminine skirt is classic and nice. It would also be very cute with a beige or black crop pants or jeans. Just add gold accessories and perhaps a straw hat and you’re up to go. If you want to tough it up a bit, you could add a leather jacket. The mix of a flowy skirt + lace with leather is always a great combo.This top is versatile. It gives you lots of possibilities. Have fun. Your photo is lovely!

    I think you paired the outfit great!! 💁🏼👗 That skirt looks like it’s extremely versatile and could be worn with plenty of other tops. My more adventurously dresses friends would also potentially pair it with another print top. I, for one, never feel super confident going that bold. Also, I don’t think I would have guessed the shirt was a crop top. I usually don’t like how they sit on me; but that’s an adorable outfit on you! 😄🌸

      Thanks a lot 💖 My inspiration for wearing crop tops is Winnie the Pooh…I relate to his love for honey and his tubby figure 😂😂 I’m not great with mixing prints too but want to try a few combinations. I’m more of a jeans and t-shirt person so anything other than that seems like a fancy outfit 🙂
